Michael A. Petrino

Michael is a Senior Portfolio Manager for Affinity Investment Advisors, LLC. His over 45 years of industry experience provides a valuable perspective to Affinity's investment team. Michael’s experience includes managing portfolios for a wide range of retail and institutional clients and this background is brought to bear in both Affinity’s business development and client relations activities.
Michael’s previous work experience includes Portfolio Manager and Executive Director at Morgan Stanley Investment Management and Van Kampen, Partner at La Jolla Investment Management and Chief Investment Officer at Stockjungle.com Investment Advisors. Michael also founded two investment management firms, Matrix Capital Management and Calport Asset Management and was Chief Investment Officer at both of these firms as well.
Michael earned his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and graduated cum laude from Amherst College with a B.A. in Economics. He is a member of the NYSSA and the Society of Quantitative Analysts.
In his spare time, Mike likes to travel with his family, play golf, and go to the theater.
