Tianyue "Fiona" Zhang

Associate Portfolio Manager

Fiona serves as an Associate Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst at Affinity Investment Advisors, LLC. In her role, she supports and collaborates on the firm's strategies while also contributing as a Research Analyst by leveraging her programming skills and conducting quantitative and fundamental analysis to inform investment decisions. With expertise in sentiment signal construction, factor modeling, and risk parity asset allocation, Fiona actively participates in Affinity's model development, portfolio construction, risk management, and other operational processes.

Prior to joining Affinity, Fiona earned her M.S. in Financial Engineering from UCLA Anderson School of Management.  Additionally, she obtained a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Irvine graduating summa cum laude. She has successfully passed the CFA Level 1 exam and is actively pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Fiona is also proficient in Mandarin Chinese.

Outside of work, Fiona enjoys engaging in critical thinking processes and has a nine-year background as a public forum debater. She finds pleasure in traveling around the country with club members for debate events. Fiona also has a passion for archery and was a recurve bow archer on the UCLA archery team. She enjoys spending time outdoors, practicing archery with friends, and exploring new places.
